Austrian Set Designer and Artist, Philipp Haemmerle born 1967, lives and works in New York City and the Berkshires. Formally trained as a sculptor at the Akademie der Bildende Kunste, Wein, he graduated with distinction, a Magister.

Spending his early years in Florence Italy, collaborating with artists such as Daniel Spoerri, Tone Fink, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Joannis Avramidis, and Hermann Nitsch, Philipp helped to create Il Giardino di Daniel Spoerri while exhibiting his own work in museums and galleries worldwide.

Never missing a season for set designing, Philipp has collaborated consistently with the world's top fashion photographers and editors for over 20 years, including Mario Sorrenti, Bruce Weber, Peter Lindbergh, Tom Munro, Paolo Roversi, Richard Burbridge, David Sims, Cedric Buchet, Steven Meisel, Carine Roitfeld, Grace Coddington, Camilla Nickerson, Tom Ford and Melanie Ward. His work can be seen regularly in the worlds most prestigious fashion magazines such as American Vogue, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, British Vogue, V Magazine, W Magazine, Vanity Fair and Harpers Bazaar. Advertising clients include Chanel, Balmain, Victoria’s Secret, SKKN, Calvin Klein, Hermes, Cartier, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Valentino, Barney’s, Carolina Herrera, Longchamp and Juicy Couture to name a few.

His work has taken him all over the world to work with almost every major celebrity. He continues to find time for his Art work in sculptures, and one of a kind fabrications.
